Place Portraits ~ a unique gift or keepsake.

Artwork is created of a home, special location, favorite flower or other dear-to-the-heart subject. Materials are pen & ink and watercolor paint or colored pencil with archival quality materials. A variety of sizes are offered.

I work from photos, which I will take, if feasible, or the client can supply. Supplied home or location photographs (digital or prints) should be of the entire home and immediate surroundings; viewed directly from the front as well as each side. Include close ups of interesting details, such as the doors, light fixtures, and trim, as well as trees and gardens. If you cannot get all of the house in one shot, stand with your feet still and move from the waist to the left or right to take the next photo.
